She earned her medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and a Master of Medical Science from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She completed a transitional year at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus, followed by diagnostic radiology residency at UTMB. She then completed a body imaging fellowship at Emory University and a breast imaging and intervention fellowship at UTMB.

Dr. Bazuaye-Ekwuyasi brings broad expertise in CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray imaging, with specialized experience in screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures.

Before joining Professional Radiology, she served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, where she provided comprehensive patient care and held leadership roles in breast imaging and medical education.
